MARRIED | A Vintage Travel Wedding: Chaminade Part I
Friday, September 16th, 2011VENDOR LOVE | Saratoga Country Club: Featuring T-Short
Wednesday, June 15th, 2011I had the privilege to shoot for Tom Vo last weekend, who I endearingly refer to as T-Short. He brings a ladder with him everywhere and is always looking at surroundings for a lift. Speaking of lifts… here he is in the elevator ride up to the boys room. Show time.
We always have a blast working together, especially when you get a fun wedding party like this one. Here are a few from last weekend.
SNEAK PEEK | A Gorgeous Holy Cross Wedding
Sunday, December 5th, 2010FAMILY SESSION | Happy Birthday Kathleen
Monday, November 15th, 2010Kristi gifted her mother a portrait session for her birthday. K is her first grandbaby and grandma is so blessed that they moved up from LA to live near grandma. We had BEAUTIFUL weather at Wilder and a fun fun time exploring all the “dogs” as K calls them. Any and all animals are dogs to this sweet thing. Here is one of the cutest little curly top doll bugs ever. I had so much fun with you guys. Enjoy!
SNEAK PEEK | Vintage Gas Station
Friday, October 8th, 2010MARRIED | Frankie + Dennize
Tuesday, September 7th, 2010All the way up from LA, Dennize married into a family that I’ve come to learn makes up half of Santa Cruz. I will see them and most of their relatives at three weddings by the end of this summer. So don’t mess with the Familia cuz they have got people. Lots of them! Dennize and Frankie married at a catholic church in Aptos then kicked off their reception at his parents residence with oysters, tequelia and a mariachi band. The party was in full swing in no time. Everywhere I turned people where laughing and enjoying themselves. Her guest know how to have a good time and kick off their shoes and dance! They rocked the dance floor so hard, I was scared to look through my lens and not watch my toes.
Good times Dennize. Thanks for putting on such a beaut wedding and party!

ENGAGED | Seabright Beach
Thursday, August 12th, 2010
Brad & Cierra came down from the Auburn area where they live to our coldest and foggiest day yet. We’ve had such a cold summer. If I knew where to lodge complaints about this weather, I would have submitted my card already. I hate the cold and miss the sunshine warmth of Santa Cruz summers. I’m sure these two see plenty of sun though with tans like theirs.
Their dog hammed it up for the camera. With sand covered slobber like this, it’s a mug only a mother could love.
PERSONAL | For Papa
Thursday, July 15th, 2010My dad recently moved into a new office and is big on his grandkids like all great, wonderful, amazing, playful Papa’s are. So I surprised him with a new little collage I’m going to be offering to clients. It is all custom colors, pictures, and wording. You can order it in any square size: 10×10, 12×12, 20×20. I ordered him a thin wrap, which should be surprising him on his doorstep today! You can turn it into a print, thin wrap, or canvas wrap.
It’s the sweet sixteen!
Wilder Ranch: Isabella + Luke
Monday, June 21st, 2010Everyone always asks me, “How come you don’t have your own kids in your portfolio?”
I really don’t know?!
So between that and wanting to get some new studio sample albums together, I figured I’d do a session with my own kids! What a thought. If I’m going to pay for some samples, I mine as well make something for keeps here.
So here they are… my kiddos, Isabella and Luke.
Luke is four going on five and will be off to kindergarten this fall. Weird. Home with no kids will be very new and different for me. Luke is headstrong, lively, and full of personality. He LOVES animals and to be more specific… he loves dinosaurs. He doesn’t walk anywhere. He runs and ends every sprint with a jump upon arrival. If it’s quiet, you no he’s up to no good. But God must have known, cuz he gave him his daddy’s big chocolate eyes and gorgeous eyelashes.
Bella is eight and going into third grade. She is the bestest (I know, not a word) most lovable sister to her headstrong little bruiser brother. She is so compassionate and sweet. She blows me away with her thoughtfulness on a daily basis.
She’s so adult at times. She has reminding me to lock up the house, has packed extra jackets for family members, and just yesterday brought me a towel that I never grabbed before getting into the spa. She practically raises herself. Adult as she is though, she has a joyful heart and a radiant laugh to match.
They are the best of mates and full of love for each other.
We are greatly blessed.
