MARRIED | Jo Jo + Heidi

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011

This wedding was so beautiful!!  From the venue to the details to the couple and their darling little girl who was a big part of their day.  I am officially in love with Leal winery.  The potential for locations is endless!  Heidi and Jo Jo live only lived a few miles away, which was so convenient.  Heidi and I actually go way back as our moms are dear friends from their high school days.  So Heidi and I shared a few kid parties growing up and I’m sure countless park dates too.  She had the best birthdays with a fat trampoline in her grandparents backyard from my spotty childhood memories. It’s pretty fun to be in the wedding and portrait business and be able to capture peoples big milestones of love and laughter, especially when you’ve known them for years.  Heidi and Jo Jo had a great bunch of friends.  We had such a good time at you guys’ wedding!  Thanks for allowing me to be part of your very special day.

All the girls looked up all day long to stop their tears.

Dad seeing his little girl and beautiful wife all dolled up for the first time that day…

Can you count how many people are fighting back tears?  Ahhhh….love.

This was awesome, minus the video guy.  Doup.

Their 2010 wedding plans got postponed to 2011 cuz of a little surprise.  They did such a sweet job incorporating their new little girl into their day from the little wagon ride down the aisle playing “whose that lady” to their cake topper. So cute.

Leah from Spiral Hand did such a lovely job with the mix of garden flowers and different style vases. I loved the fresh and elegant look.

This is the house where the bride got ready and the couple (and more) can stay the night.  Those black doors behind the couple open up to a wine barrel room that seats 20 for an intimate dinner.  Just below the couple is a full size jacuzzi with a waterfall that pours into a water area below where the ceremony and reception are held.  This place is off- the-hook!!  Did I mention the boat?  The olive garden that is full of twinkly lights at night? Or endless vineyards?  It’s magic.  I loved it.

Heidi has the best laugh- So beautiful.

They’re so smokin’ hot of a couple, I couldn’t resist asking Jo Jo to lean her up on this table and steal some kisses with his new wife!

Congrats to you both!! xx ~Julie
