MARRIED | Bi-Coastal Wedding Part II
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011FAMILY SESSION | Redwood Grove
Friday, April 29th, 2011ENGAGED | The Adventures of Brian + Jenai
Thursday, February 17th, 2011Oh, how I wish I could share their amazing video that their mega talented friend made for their up coming wedding days. Yep. Two weddings. One on the East Coast and one on the West- my first double header. Well besides my own. Yeah- we did the official one with just the parents present, then the huge shabang a year later. There will be no video though, as it is top secret. I got a peek though because I will be “working” while it plays. With their many years traveling from coast to coast to keep up a relationship, the two are planning a travel themed wedding. I’m very much looking forward to seeing all the details she’s oozing about come to life. In the meanwhile, here was her other vision for her engagement session… first a hike in Nisene Marks, then a trip to the beach for a coveted photo of them on boards in their clothes. Crazy I know. She had me at, “so our backs will be to you…” There is something so enchanting to me about two people in love looking away from the camera. It holds so much curiosity and unknowns.
After Nisene Marks… we headed over to the village. We did a little stroll around town, before hitting the water.
Lucky for these two, there was no swell. The surf was as flat as a lake. They were able to paddle out unscathed for this shot she wanted.
Thanks for the fun adventures guys! I’m looking forward to more with your bi-coastal weddings. xx ~J
FAMILY SESSION | Bumble Bee Ballerina
Sunday, February 13th, 2011This precious little bumble bee ballerina worked many looks for her nine month old shoot. Her mama has been great about schedule a shoot every few months. So much so, Shutterfly asked to use her website she’s made for her little girl as advertisement. Good stuff Leah!
Allison had quit the help behind the scenes. Not only was her mom and dad there, but also grandma and papa, as well as my daughter. My daughter, Bella is eight years old and in love with kids. I brought her once to a shoot to help get the many children to laugh and haven’t turned back! She does such a great job getting them to giggle and smile, that I don’t know why I didn’t bring along sooner. By the end of the shoot, Allison was crashed on Bella as she carried her home from the park. SO cute.
A little laundry.
Off to the local park… Allison hangs on tight to dad’s ears!
Three generations.
Baby Portraits with Miss Reagan
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010I met up with this cutie at Vasona park the other week. I think she had a few first that day like sitting on grass without a blanket under her. So she was wide eyed as we put her in flowers, on grass, and dipped her toes in the creek. What really mezmerized her though was the merry-go-round. Here parents put on quit the show too for Miss Reagan. I love watching parents interact with their kids, especially the dads. Maybe cuz I know for most moms… we do the mommy-show all day long. I see it often. But dads are so fun to watch with thier little girls. Not just the playful ways, but also the things they say and do like making sure they have sunscreen on at a photoshoot. That was what Reagan’s daddy made sure of that day. I think it says, “I love and protect my little girl” all over it. Little girls just bring that protective side right out of dads. Love it. Here is a well earned smile for mom and dad.
