Wednesday, June 8th, 2011One week later, we all headed back to Pennsylvania to do the REAL wedding as her dad like’s to think of it. I had the pleasure of being able to attend the rehearsal dinner, help out with some center pieces, and cruise around the sleepy little town her folks now live in, Emmaus. It was such a refreshing experience to meet people like the gentlemen at the Bakery , Baked who insisted I finish my breakfast before I head to the ATM as it was a cash only cafe. Who in California would serve you even a cup of coffee let alone a whole breakfast without paying first? That breakfast tasted ten times sweeter after that experience. Mind you, a cinnamon roll was part of it. Yum. Here are a few snapshots from around Emmaus to give you a flavor of the town. Lots of lawns, lots of blossoms, lots of American flags, and lots of nice people.
Precious candid I got during the ceremony of her grandpa kissing his wife’s hand. Her care taker duct behind her for the photo.
Jenai had custom signs made up for her different events and locations as their wedding was based on all their travels while long distance dating.
I love this picture since this pretty much sums up every couple on their wedding day. Busy busy meeting and greeting all the guest. Brian mastered an efficient technique after a few tables.
